All About Other Charges
  • DEMAT Maintenance Charges

    Current charges are ₹45 per traded month. With effect from 1st Jan, 2021 the charges will be revised to ₹0/8/25 per month depending certain criteria. For details. click here

  • DP Transaction Charge Credit ₹ 0 (When you purchase shares, no transaction charge)

    DP Transaction Charge Debit ₹ 12.5 per scrip, (When you sell shares, this charge is levied)

  • Inter-settlement charges

    Inter-settlement from CUSA to pool, Collateral to pool and MTF to pool transfer would be charged at Rs 12.50 per transaction per scrip (excluding GST and applicable taxes). The charges would be debited to the trading ledger on a weekly basis.

  • Pledge Charges

    ₹12.50 per scrip for margin pledge (Pledge your share and get additional margin benefit)

    ₹25 per scrip for MTF pledge (Pledge stocks which have been bought from funding)

    ₹50 per scrip for normal pledging shares (Loan Against Shares)

  • Un-pledge Charges

    ₹12.5 per scrip for un-pledging of shares.

    Confiscate charge: ₹12.5 per scrip

  • Call & Trade Charges

    ₹100 per call on trading section of our customer support. We don’t charge anything if called for query or complaint to our customer support number

  • Funds Transfer Charges

    No charge for funds transferred through UPI and IMPS. No charge for funds paid to you from credit in your account. For funds transferred through Net Banking, ₹10 per transaction is levied

  • Dematerialization of physical shares

    ₹15 per certificate in case of dematerialization of physical shares and ₹40 for postal Charges.

  • Delayed payment charge

    If your account is in debit, delayed payment charge of 0.06% per day is charged only for amount in debit on a daily basis and only from payin day e.g. for shares purchased, this charge will be applicable if you do not transfer funds for more than 2 workimg days.

1. Demat Maintenance charges are applied for maintaining your demat A/c with CDSL. It is known as Demat AMC. Unlike other brokers, 5paisa does not charge annual AMC but only for the months when you trade i.e. at the rate of Rs. 45 per traded month irrespective of the number of trades.

2. DP transaction charges are applied at the time of selling delivery shares from your DEMAT account and in some scenarios even when you are not selling shares. These charges are applicable with effect from 08th June 2020. DP Charges will be levied as per below mentioned conditions: Click here

We charge 0.06% interest per day (21.90% p.a.) on debit balance. The charges are calculated on daily basis but posted in ledger on weekly basis. Click here
